أثر في حياتي بكلماته وألحانه وأغانيه أثراً بالغاً
تعلقت بأغانيه وحفظتها عن ظهر قلب
وكتبتها وأنا بالمدرسة والجامعة في كراسة
(مرت على معظم أصدقائي واقربائي والجيران وأنتهى بها المطاف عند صديقي العزيز الحكم الدولي شمس المعارف بخيت)
وكانت لي مجموعة كاسيتات مرت على أغلب البارتيهات في أمدرمان في ذلك الوقت الجميل

تغنى بوب للفداء والنضال والحرية
وغنى للسلام المبنى على المشاركة والحقوق والإعتراف بالآخر
