شرطة نيويورك تلقى القبض على صحفية مصرية أمريكية لمحوها لافتة عنصرية

اعترضت الصحفية والناشطة بحقوق المرأة منى الطحاوى على أحد اللافتات الإعلانية المتواجدة فى تقاطع "تايمز سكوير" بولاية نيويورك الأمريكية، والتى تسيء للعرب وتدعو للعنصرية.

و قامت الطحاوى - و هي مصرية امريكية مقيمة بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية - الثلاثاء برش "سبراى" على اللافتة التى كتب عليها "في أى حرب بين المتحضر والهمجى، أدعم المتحضر، ادعم اسرائيل ضد جهاد"، حتى أفسدت اللوحة لكن أعترضتها إحدى الصحفيات الأمريكيات التى اتهمتها بمحاربة حرية التعبير، لكن ردت عليها الطحاوى بأنها لا تحارب حرية الرأي والتعبير لكنها تحارب العنصرية.

وتم القبض عليها في النهاية من الشرطة وهى تقول: أنا أسمى منى الطحاوى مصرية أمريكية، ومن حقى التظاهر بلا عنف، وأرفض العنصرية والكراهية، هذا ما يحدث مع مظاهرة سلمية في أمريكا في 2012".

يأتى ذلك فيما قالت الطحاوى ، عبر حسابها على موقع "تويتر" : "مقبوض على حتى أعرض على القاضى صباحاً، أنا بخير، جريمتى جنحة وليست جناية".

Egyptian journalist arrested in US for spraying pro-Israel ad

Well-known Egyptian-American writer Mona Eltahawy was arrested Tuesday while defacing a pro-Israel ad with spray paint in a New York subway station.

A video published by the New York Post showed the activist spraying the ad at a Times Square subway station while another woman who supported the billboard's content, Pamela Hall, was standing against the wall to prevent her from doing so.

“In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel, defeat Jihad,” read the billboard, which was put up by the anti-Muslim American Freedom Defense Initiative led by Pam Geller.

Eltahawy tweeted that she believes in her right to object to the abusive ad, calling on followers to report on her arrest.

While being handcuffed by police officers, Eltahawy told passers-by to note that she was being arrested despite expressing her objection peacefully.

Eltahawy’s arrest triggered a day of widespread targeting of the controversial ads, according to the newspaper.

NEW YORK (AP) -- An Egyptian-born U.S. columnist has been arrested for spray-painting an advertisement equating Muslim radicals with savages at a New York City subway station.

Police say Mona Eltahawy was arrested Tuesday on charges including criminal mischief and making graffiti. Her arrest was captured on video by a New York Post camera crew and posted online.

Eltahawy is a women's rights defender and lecturer on the role of social media in the Arab world. She calls herself a liberal Muslim who's spoken publicly against violent Islamic groups. She's seen in the video spraying pink paint on the ad while another woman tries to block her.

The ad is by a conservative blogger. It declares, "Defeat Jihad," or holy war. The ads appeared Monday in 10 Manhattan subway stations.

Eltahawy hasn't returned a phone message seeking comment on her arrest

اخطأت منى الطحاوي بازالة البوستر, و هي تعرف ان حق و حرية التعبير مكفول في امريكا.

كان يمكن ان يستخدم البوستر لصالح المسلمين و العرب و بناء رأي عام امريكي مضاد الاسلاموفوبيا و العربوفوبيا. وكان ممكن يتصعد لمستوى المحكمة الدستورية و مقارنة ذلك بالحماية التي يتمتع بها اليهود في امريكا لدرجة تجريم معاداة السامية.
الان ما فعلته منى سيستخدم ضد العرب و المسلمين كمنتهكين لحقوق الانسان و برابرة لا يحترمون دستور ولا قانون و يأخذون الامور بأيديهم.
المسلمين و العرب في امريكا يحتاجون لقيادات واعية بالدستور و اساليب النضال في امريكا, لكي يحدث اختراق في العلاقات بين الشعب الامريكي و الشعوب العربية و الاسلامية.

في امريكا لاتمارس النزوات او الرغائب ، فالكل حذر من تجاوز القانون ، لان القانون قيمة ساميه يعتد بها ،
تقدمت سيدة لادارة قطار الانفاق ( subway) باعلان يصف الجهاد بالهمجية .. رفضت ادارة القطار عرض الاعلان
لانه يتناول دين او عقيدة لاتتجاوز بضع مليون من 350 مليون امريكي !!! رفعت السيدة الامر للقضاء ، اقر القضاء بان للسيدة الحق
في وضع الاعلان في محطات (MTA وتشمل قطار الانفاق والباصات .... ورغم ذلك اعلن مامور نيويورك (المليادير اليهودي ) انه لا يتفق مع قرار
المحكمه لكنه ملتزم بالانصياع للقانون !!!!!!!!!!!!! فليس هنالك تامر او نظريه للمؤامرة .. هنا قانون ... يعاقب المخطئ مهما علا ويدين المذنب وان سفل ....
ماقامت به الصحفيه المصرية الامريكية يعد طبقا للقانون Sabotage تخريب بالدرب العديل درب القانون !!! لانها اقترفت عمل تخريبي ضد نشاط عام يسمح به القانون
ولو تبنت هذه الصحفية المصرية الامريكية عمل او نشاط يتناول الانتهاكات الاسرائيلة ضد الشعب الفلسطيني ضمن الاطار القانوني (الذي لايذري جنس او يحقر ديانه )
فسوف تخترق الانفاق والافئدة ، لكنها فضلت العنتريات ونظرية ونشرب ان وردنا الماء صفوا ..... وهي صحفية امريكية تتصدر منابر الاعلام الامريكي كمتخصصه في قضايا الشرق (.........)
واحترام القانون والعمل ضمن اطاره لايقتصر علي مني الطحاوي بل حتي الانظمه البترولية لا تهتم او تحتكم لرجل الشارع الامريكي بل تسعي لطلب ود الادارة الامريكية وطائفة المهاجرين الجدد المسلمين
بانشاء مسجد او افتتاح مدرسة اسلامية يقتصر دورها في بضع افراد لايتجاوزن المئات بحكم الثقافه والتكلفه المادية !!!!!
يفترض في الطحاوي ان تكون مثال ونموذج لقبول الراي الاحر ،ضمن اطار حرية التعبير ، وان اختلف هذا الراي مع معتقداتنا واصولنا ومنابتنا ، لكنها كصفوة او نخبه ، اتاح لها مولدها (في امريكا ) ان
تكون بمنأي عن ان تكون هي الخصم والحكم ، وتعتبر نفسها سلطة عليا تجيز او ترفض ملصقات عامه ، فهو امر غير منطقي ومناقض لمنشأ الطحاوي ، الا اذا كنا نعتبر مني الطحاوي امتداد لجماعة انصار الشريعة في ليبيا

مش غريبة تكون صحفية في امريكا وتقع في خطأ فادح زي ده ، عندها مليون طريقة ممكن كانت تعملها
بدل هذا العمل الذي يعتبر تخريب في قانون الولايات المتحدة ولو اليافطة كانت تحمل عكس المعنى وارتكب يهودي هذا الخطأ
برضو كان حيعاقب، وبهكذا تصرف فقد اثبتت هذه الصحفية محتوى اليافطة التي تحارب الهمجية .

The ad was funded by a conservative activist who is no stranger to controversy. Here's NPR's Joel Rose. JOEL ROSE, BYLINE: The text of the ad is only 18 words long. It says: In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel, defeat and jihad. PAMELA GELLER: Any war on innocent civilians is savagery. ROSE: Pamela Geller is the conservative blogger and activist who paid for the ads. GELLER: The tens of thousands of rockets going into southern Israel from Gaza, the blowing up of a bus of Jewish women and children in Bulgaria, the assassination of Ambassador Stevens is savagery. ROSE: Geller was also involved in the campaign to block an Islamic center near the World Trade Center site. She insists the new ad campaign is not offensive to what she calls peaceful Muslims. But the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, which operates the subway, did not agree. The MTA initially refused to run the ads. Geller took the agency to court and won. GELLER: I will not sacrifice my freedom of speech so as not to offend savages. ROSE: The ad appeared for the first time today in the hallways of 10 New York subway stations, including Times Square. SAMRA: Jihad means is to sacrifice for your children. They say sacrifice, not going to blow up yourself. ROSE: Samra isn't the only New Yorker who's offended by the ad. David Vermilion(ph) stopped to snap a picture of it with his Blackberry. DAVID VERMILION: When you look at words like savage, you wonder whether that kind of language will be permitted if it was directed towards any other Catholic organization, Jewish organization, any other ethnic minority. It's horrible. ROSE: New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg condemned the ad in his weekly radio show last week. So do the Anti-Defamation League and the Council on American Islamic Relations. But they all acknowledged Geller's right to free speech. So does Frank Parris(ph), a Cuban-American New Yorker. FRANK PARRIS: The First Amendment should not be violated selectively. We have the right, I would say, to offend anyone or to be offended by anyone. So freedom has to be unconditional. If we start to set conditions, it's going to be the end of it.
