It works to alleviate poverty through the development and use of appropriate technologies by the communities, demonstrating results, sharing knowledge, building capacity to replicate and influencing others for scaling up. Practical Action seeks to achieve this by implementing work under four International Aims: (i) Reducing Vulnerability; (ii) Making Markets Work for the Poor; (iii) Improving Access to Infrastructure Services and (iv) Responding to New Technologies.
