Thanks for the nice topic. I have taken the course last year; it sure added a slight quality to my life. The seven habits made me discern my personality in terms of my strengths and weakness. I figured that my weakest point is when it comes to the 4th habit (think Win-Win (ashamed face)), and I am working to improve it. But the one that my commitment always fails is the 7th habit. (Sharpen the saw) it is just not working for me. I may be able to accomplish it one day. I am sure you felt the same way. Covey had published the 8th habit (from effectiveness to greatness), last July, after fifteen years from publishing the seven habits. I listened to the tape and not quite finished reading the book. The 8th habit is very challenging though. It invites the amalgamation of talent, passion and conscience that few can accomplish (don't think I will be one.

Someone was asking if you can share the material, well, I do have all the tapes and I can upload them but since the seven habits are an hour and half long and the 8th habit is as of the same length, I may not be able to upload both of them in one post. Also I don't know Bakri's rules about bandwidth limitations. If anyone has an idea, let me know so I can go ahead and upload them if it is ok.

If time permits, I will share my experiences with the seven habits, struggles and success. But I will try to post covey’s daily quotes from my planner, and here is today’s quote


Interdependence is essential anytime cooperation would be beneficial. We live in an interdependent world. What I do ultimately affects you, and vice versa.
