I agree, Adil, we need to write for a long time to come, to keep this fire alive; but my hope was that, one day, the meanings for which Mahmood paid his life, will become so common-sense (as they should really be!) in our land that we will celebrate them, rather the argue to stress them! i
Today is the 18th of January 2004, 19 years since the old Omdurmanite man said his words, smiled and left peacefully… i
