BANK ACCOUNT FOR HUMANITARIAN APPEAL
Date: Fri, 24 Sep 2004 19:29:54 -0500

Dear Colleagues,

Mr. Pel Tor Gai (1983-2004) was assaulted on September 19 after dining at a local establishment in Nashville, Tennessee State, and he subsequently died at Vanderbilt Hospital later that morning. Mr. Gai's cousin Duop, 26, also was stabbed in the same attack and is currently in stable condition at Vanderbilt. Mr. Gai and his family (mother, two younger sisters and two younger brothers) migrated to Nashville from the Sudan in March 2003. He and his family lived in Millwood Apartments off Murfreesboro Road until his sudden death.

Mr. Gai was the head of his extended household and was responsible for his family in Nashville. He died without any life insurance or savings and this left the family in a devastated condition. The burial is tentatively scheduled for Saturday the 25th, but this will depend on the family?s ability to raise up to $5,000 for funeral and burial expenses.

The bank account is as follows:

Bank of America/ Plus Park,
837 Murfreesboro Rd., Nashville, TN 37217. USA
Account # <003788969473 style="color:black;background-color:white">
Routing # <064000020 style="color:black;background-color:white">

May the Benevolent Lord shower His mercy on your soul, dear Pel.
