اسطوانة مشروخة و متكررة فهل من تفسير؟

Salam
This regime is very skilled in the use of the media and propaganda and since their early days they spent millions, both inside and outside Sudan, paying public relations organisations (such as Hoile and his ESPAC and BSPAC) and buying papers and journalists. In the past their targets were the opposition groups and the SPLM/SPLA but it seems that now they found a more profitable target in Turabi and his group and it is a productive one internally and externally.
Internally, the vast majority of the Sudanese despises Turabi because of what he brought them and what he did to them. So in the absence of a principled culture of human rights and respect for the law among the populace only his followers with their limited base protest his arrest and mistreatment.
Externally, Turabi is seen as the godfather of the Islamicists terrorism so many will turn a blind eye to his plight. This last point is what is being used by the regime to bargain with America, Egypt, and other concerned parties.
In effect the fate of Sudan and the Sudanese is no longer the concern of the government of the day and sideshows became the norm.
The NIF policy of regionalising conflicts is leading to the dis-integration of the country. The problem is not the south or Darfur but a whole system of rule that is trying to negate the realities of a multi-faceted country with many nations within its borders. This is not a problem created by the NIF as all previous regimes behaved in the same way. What makes the NIF different is the brutality with which it implements the policy in addition to its attempts to impose an imagined, bankrupt and discredited vision of Sudan that completely excludes the others.
Sudan is disintegrating so when will we wakeup to the reality and not be diverted by the NIF sideshows?
