Dear Mr. Zaki
That is very interesting, I wish I could be there
But I am hoping to attend the SSA-USA meeting for 2005. I remember attending their 1998 conference in Egypt

As the topics are very interesting and crucial to me, especially those around health, do you think there is a chance for us to read a summary or some abstracts from the papers to be presented?

That would be great
And do they have a Web Site where they (may) upload such material?

Thanks
Iman Ahmed

Salam Iman
Some of the papers may be published in Sudan Studies, the publication of SSSUK. This will depend on the authors and whether they want to publish a written version.
Sorry for the late response given the way usefull information disappears from the first page.
Regards
Zaki
