Hi everybody
I would like to thank Bakri for giving me the chance to join the club!I will write in Arabic next time
Infact I've come along way from deep down the corridors of the history of the Sudan,especially the 1770's,1880's when Sudan was totally subjected to foreign forces,Egypt,Turkey and Britian.When they all gave themselves the right to (save us).
Since then time never progressed in the Sudan,but turned over and over on itself.Violence,wars,slavery,famine etc.Even ofter 1956 when the entire Sudanese population was optimistic and all was ready to build our country we ended up in square one and even worst.Because this time we are our own enemies. Even the 3three democracies ended up in (a military democracy 1986)Emmediately we the nuba and our neighbours the southerners were taken to the slave trade market. Women who are now over 50% are still knocking every door to prove they are citizens and they have much to offer to this country..\\
How can we guarantee that this will be the last dictator regime?
How can the Sudan move one step ahead when one of his wings is contiuously bleeding
?Anyway can I come in

قمنا بتسجيل مقاطع من هذا الفيلم، من بينها لحظات إطلالتك المؤثرة، بتقاطيعك الوسيمة. وأعددنا دبلجة بدائية بعض الشيء، لكنها ناجحة (أجرينا الترجمة على شريط كاسيت بحيث تكون متزامنة مع عرض الفيلم). وعرضنا هذا التسجيل في مناسبات عديدة هنا في باريس. وفي كل مرة، يرتفع مدى تأثر الحضور عند مرور شهادتك المعبرة. وتترقرق دموعٌ صادقة.

Once again I would like to thank all of you.This is a very encouraging welcome.NAGAT I'm very glad to hear from you and to know where you are. It seems we are allover the place.You reminded me of the film.The war is now in Darfur and it seems we have to fight in all Sudanese frontiers since we have no choice.I pray to GOD eastern Sudan is not the next. What makes it really painfull is the situation of women and children,because this special category is completely vulnurable and nobody asks their ponit of view when they take the descion of war. They are the most affected by war and thus the country keeps crawling instead of walking on 2. I'll come back to you Nagat someday later.
Dousa,what you said was very encouraging.It's true I can't give up. There is no time for that.

كم انا سعيدة بانضمامك للمنبر الحر. ربما تقابلنا لفترة بسيطة فى الماضى و لكن اعتقد انك ربما لن تتذكرينى. لكننى دائما ما تابعت انجازاتك العظيمة فى "نوب" و قبلها و بعدها. استمعت لتسجيل لاحدى جلسات لمؤتمر حقوق الانسان فى الفترة الانتقالية، و اسرتنى كلماتك الصادقة حول المرأة فى جبال النوبة و اعجبت برجاحة عقلك و انتباهك الى اهمية تضمين نساء و اهل جبال النوبة فى اى تغيير قادم، على اساس سياسى مبنى على نضالهم مع اهل الجنوب
من قال ان نساء النوبة passive يجلسن فى انتظار ان يتم انتشالهن من القهر الحكومى و غيره؟ انك يا استاذة نور، خير مثال للمرأة القوية التى تنتزع حقها بيدها و تناضل لاجل اهلها و انت بالنسبة لى مثل أعلى. استاذة نور ارجو ان تحدثينا عن مشروعاتك و اعمالك الحالية، و ارجو ان تكتبى كثيرا كثيرا فكم نحتاج قلمك فى هذا المنبر - الذى يسرح فيه و يمرح كل ظلامى، و كم نحتاج لنضالك ضد السلطة الفاشية.

Thank you very much for your impressive words.Like you said we haven't met before, but I feel happy.Answer to your question about what I'm doing at present,there is much going on although we are now focusing on Darfur as a priority in what we call (Action Darfur).It's a group of Sudanese in Ottawa. We /nuba group are preparing for a conference about the capacity building for the Nuba Women since they are out of war and their number is more than men in the region.If you can join us please let me know.You can contact me! this is all what I can tell you at present
Since you gave me the honour of being your aunt or elder sister,please take my advice and differenciate clearly between islam as a relegion and what the Sudanese governments are doing in the name of islam.This is important.I'm sure you do not mean to attack relegions as such! I read everything you wrote.You are talented and a very aggressive fighter and you can do much to us and the Sudan in general without attacking islam as a relegion.I do not know your relegion,but supposing you are christian,would you be happy if Jesus was attacked infront of you

What I mean by battle is efforts in every field. There is an English saying;If you are going to fight for your rights,don't put on your best jacket. We have a problem in the Sudan,but we the Sudanese people are used to fighting our dictators
