UNDERDOGS Greece have pulled off a shock Euro 2004 victory with a 1-0 win over hosts Portugal.

Angelos Haristeas scored the only goal in the 57th minute of the match in Lisbon.

The game was disrupted just minutes from the final whistle when a spectator ran onto the pitch and into a goal before being bundled off by police.

Regarding the final!

I wasn't fortunate enough to watch the first half of the final. However , i was only able to watch the second half where all the actions went on including the only scored goal. honestly , i expected Portugal to win the game from the stand point of having the game played in Portugal. I also thought that Portugal having been beaten in the first game against Greece would be a factor to motivate the home team to play as hard as never before in an attempt to erase that losing image. At the end , Portugal came up short and it should have been the winner in a game Greece hasn't done much other than scoring the winning goal.
