Dears

The racist British political group the BNP -British National Party- uses the slogan “Rights for Whites” meaning that the law must discriminate against non-whites in education, housing and employment just to mention few fields.
It seems that many Northern Sudanese got the same syndrome. The moment a Southerner –and now a Westerner- makes a statement that could not be argued or answered in a simplistic way, retreat into the trenches of irrationality becomes the solution and the label of racism is thrown in all directions. When we are faced with the reality of our attitudes and behaviour, the refuge becomes to accuse the others of being racists.
It seems that many are creating a new definition of racism: if you do not accept my superiority then you are a racist!!!

Being busy during the exams season seems to be a blessing as I managed to avoid some of the worst language I ever thought I will hear from people who got enough common sense to be able to use a computer never mind intellect and intelligence.
In civilised societies any one publishing the words we are reading here will end up in court rightly answering the charges of inciting racism. Is this what we want as Sudanese?
