اثببتت الابحاث الاخيرة التي قام بها فريق من الاطباء بجامعة وين,دترويت بميتشيقان علي احتواء الحيوانات المنوية للرجل علي جروسمسمات وارساليات ال ار ان ايه و اللتي تعمل علي حمل كودات تساعد في نمؤ الجنين داخل الرحم, علما بانه في السابق كان الباحثون يرون ان الوظيفة الوحيدة للحيوانات المنوية هي تلقيح البويضة والمساعدة في عملية الاخصاب, علي الرغم من ان نتائج البحث اشارت الي غير ذلك وفقا لتجارب سابقة مع الفئران زوهذا ما يؤكد علي الصعوبة اللتي يواجهها الباحثون في اجراء عملية الاستنساخ الآدمي.

LONDON:Men can breathe a sigh of relief.Despite the spectre of cloningand the birth of a fatherless mouse,scientists have uncovered evidence that men play a more vital role in procreation than they may have thought.
Male sperm not only fertilises the female egg,it also delivers male chromosomes and messenger RNA, molecules that carry codes which may help the epbryo develop and grow
}Men have a greater role in early development than we previously thoughy),said Stephen Krawetz ,of Wayne State Uneversity in Detroit in Michigan.
Krawetz and colleagues in the United States and Britain have identified six messenger RNAs found in sperm and fertilised eggs but not unfertilised eggs.
(Dad is delivering more than just his DNA.)Krawetz suspects the paternal RNA plays an important role in the early development of the embryo and elieves the research could help explain why cloning is so difficult.
(We think the RNA that is being deliverd could possibly act as a development or mechanistic awitch that sets off the correct developmental programme early on,)he said - Reuters.
