Quote: Upper Moreland PA (30 April 2004). While too many gynecologists have been found guilty of sexual misconduct with female patients, sexual assaults against males by gynecologists is a pretty rare phenomenon. However, Dr. Eltigani Mukhtar was convicted of sexual assault of a man who lived in a group home for people with developmental disabilities. In spite of the conviction, the judge allowed Mukhtar, a citizen of the Sudan to remain on $25,000 bail. In spite of the fact that the court held his passport while he awaited sentencing, Mukhtar jumped bail and returned to the Sudan to escape punishment.
