الأزمة فى دارفور



أبناء دارفور بالولايات المتحدة بالتضامن مع المنظمات السياسية ومنظمات حقوق الانسان ومنظمات المجتمع المدنى سيخرجون فى مسيرة سياسية كبرى بالعاصمة الأميركية احتجاجا على انتهاكات حكومة الأنقاذ لحقوق الأنسان فى دارفور.

الزمان: الأثنين 23 / 2 / 2004
الساعة الواحدة بعد الظهر
المكان: Dupont Circle

** ستتحرك المسيرة الساعة 1 ظهرآ مارآ بالسفارة السودانية ، وزارة الخارجية الأميركية وتنتهى بالحديقة الشمالية للبيت الأبيض.
** تهيب اللجنة المنظمة لهذه المسيرة بجميع أبناء السودان للمشاركة والتعبير عن ما يجرى اليوم فى دارفورمن قصف جوى وقتل وتشريد وما يجرى فى السودان عامة من انتهاكات لحقوق الأنسان

شكــرا يا كوستاوى على هـذه المعلــومـة،
كنت سـأشــارك فى هــذه المظاهـرة لولا أن عنـدى إمتحــان فى نفس اليـوم.. أتمنى لهـذه المظاهـرة السلميــة أن تفتــح عين الحكومــة، يلين قلبهـا حتى تشعــر بألام الأطفال والنســاء اليوميـة فى غـربنا الحبيب.

مظاهرة لنصرة دارفور والتنديد بمجازر حكومة الجبهة

المظاهرة حسب الإذن الرسمى ستبدأ الساعة الثانية عشر ظهرا أمام السفارة السودانية حتى الساعة الثانية ثم أمام الخارجية الأمريكية من الساعة الثانية حتى الساعة الرابعة ظهرا. لم نتمكن من الحصول على إذن بالتظاهر أمام البيت الأبيض لضيق الوقت. وبالمناسبة لم نتمكن من الحصول على إذن بالمسيرة كالمرة السابقة لذلك يرجى عدم الزحف فى شكل مسيرة من السفارة السودانية حتى وزارة الخارجية وشكرا.

وارواحنا فدي للسودان اسد افريقيا الجريح الشوك علي كفه لكن مواصل سيره ومتحمل الوجع بفجيعه قلب لكن ابدا الالم ما بيوقف مشوار سيره.

Thank u for the update, however, we wanted to discuss the "organization issue before we end up with this date/time.....a well organized demonstration needs an effort from all, but well, the plan is already in the implimentation phase...let's go for it

العالمي ,الي الوضع الانساني المأساوي في دارفور,وللإحتجاج علي ممارسات الحكومة السودانية من إستهداف للمواطنين المدنيين من قصف جوي وترحيل إجباري.
المكان:مدينة لاهاي
التجمع:في ميدان مالي فيلد جوار المحطة المركزية(
Centraal Station)
ومنها التحرك إلي مبني البرلمان ووزارة الخارجية لتقديم مذكرات للحكومة الهولندية

Demonstrations in Washington, DC in Support of Darfur People Against The Atrocities of The NIF Government Forces and Janjaweed Militias

Come and say loudly: NO TO WAR IN DARFUR


The Sudan Federal Democratic Alliance (SFDA) and Sudan Human Rights Organization (SHRO) are inviting all Sudanese, their friends to join the demonstration to be organized on Monday February 23, 2004, to protest and denounce the genocidal war and atrocities committed by NIF government forces and the JANJAWEED militias against the people of Darfur.

The gathering will be in front of Sudan embassy from 12:00PM to 2:00 PM and in front of the State Department from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Please join us to stop these crimes against humanity.

Come and say loudly: NO TO WAR IN DARFUR.

It was a good demonstration. I praise the organizers for their hard work. We demonstrated in front of the Sudanese embassy at 1:00 p.m. shouting anti-government (Sudan) slogans such as:

Down Down with AL-Bashir.
Peace in Darfur
No war in Darfur.
No the genocide in Darfor
Yes for peace No for war
Stop Antonov bombers
Stop Janjaweed militias
Al-Bashir is a murderer
No with the NIFs
Sudan is for all Sudanese
…..etc

At 2:00 the demonstrators handed a letter to the Ambassador of Sudan.

Then we waked to the State Department (guarded by the law enforcement officers).

We repeated the same slogans and some of the organizers addressed the demonstrators and explained why we should put some pressure on US government. .

Then a letter was handed to the State Department (attached below)

While U.S. Administration is doing a great and a noble job to put an end to the decades long bloodshed in Sudan, the Sudan government forces, the Popular Defense Forces (PDF) and the tribal Arab militias (Janjaweed) are committing massive human rights abuses in different parts of Darfur region of western Sudan as carried by different international news media and organization like Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.
The attacks are carried out randomly, villages are burned, civilians are butchered and hundreds of thousands of Darfurians are displaced and forced to flee their villages to major cities or to the neighboring country of Chad. The government and its militias use Antonov bombers, regular forces and the Janjaweed militias in their attacks.
The Sudan government after alienating the SPLA threat in the south has got a free hand in dealing with the rebellion in Darfur. Sources have informed that the Sudan government is planning to crush the rebellion and wipe it out of Darfur as General Omer Elbashir announced publicly several times. According to sources from Sudan, the Sudan government has deployed more than 6000 men from the army, supported by the Janjaweed militia to crush the rebellion in Darfur. The government has selected a secret task committee composed of:
1. Eltayeb Mohamed Khair (a.k.a. Seekha), Cabinet Minister.
2. Abdelrahim Mohamed Hussain (a.k.a. Abu Asaya), Minister of Interior.
3. Abdalla Elsafi Elnour, Minister at Cabinet Ministers Council, former governor of Darfur and the director of the Military Hardware Industry;
4. Ali Masar, the governor of the Nile State;
5. Yousif Tekna, the coordinator of Khartoum office;
6. Abdelhamid Musa Akasha, Minister of External Trade in Khartoum,
7. Jaafar Abdelhakam, governor of Wadi Salih in Darfur;
8. Mohamed Nihaidh, governor of Zalingey
9. Security and intelligence representatives…
About 110 representatives from Darfur in the National Council (Parliament) have submitted a memorandum to discuss Darfur problem but the Chairman of the Parliament refused to include their memorandum in the agenda prompting the representatives of Darfur to withdraw from the parliaments meeting.
The Sudan Federal Democratic Alliance (SFDA), while appealing to the US Administration to use its leverage and exert the utmost pressures on the Sudan government, believes that a comprehensive peaceful solution for Sudan problems must consider seriously the ongoing genocidal war and crimes committed by Sudan government forces and the Janjaweed militias. No peace can be achieved in the south, east or north while the Sudan government is devastating the west (Darfur).
