An Iranian colleague of mine Ms. Fariba Khadomi is planning to do a piece of research for a Ph.d thesis on controversial women poets.
She is lready decided upon Sylivia Plath and Forough Farokh Zad the wonderfull Iranian poet. She sought my advice on the third poet to be a contemporary Arab woman poet. The required anthology nfor study should be published and should have created some sort of turmoil within the litray scene questioning the postion of women within the conservative Arabic culture
and may be leading a controversial lifestyle!
