The American African Foundation Against Torture is proud to present Dr. Albaqir Mukhtar of the United States Peace Institute. Dr. Mukhtar is a leading expert in the area of the ongoing Civil War in Sudan, specifically Darfur and the struggle for identity of the Sudanese people. He is a world-renowned speaker, having recently spoken at the United Nations on the human rights abuses committed by the government of Sudan and the humanitarian efforts of the International Community.

Dr. Mukhtar will share his thoughts at 8PM on Friday November 24, 2006 at the Friendship House located on State Street in Schenectady NY.
