بوش يرحب بقبول السودان القوات الدولية!!!

نغافورة (اف ب) - الولايات المتحدة President George W. Bush has welcomed an agreement in principle to deploy a jointالرئيس جورج دبليو بوش يرحب اتفاق من حيث المبدأ على نشر قوة مشتركة United Nations and African Union peacekeeping force in Sudan's troubled western Darfur region.الامم المتحدة والاتحاد الافريقى لحفظ السلام في السودان في منطقة دارفور الغربية المضطربه.

US National Security Council spokesman Gordon Johndroe said Bush, currently on a week-long Asia tour, "welcomes the agreement" struck by the United Nations, African Union, Arab League and Sudan.مجلس الامن القومى الامريكى وقال المتحدث جوردون جوهندروي بوش حاليا لمدة اسبوع آسيا الجولة "بالاتفاق" ضرب من الامم المتحدة والاتحاد الافريقي والجامعة العربية والسودان.

"This agreement paves the way for a joint AU/UN peacekeeping force for Darfur composed primarily of and led by Africans, and commanded, supported and funded by the UN," he said."هذا الاتفاق يمهد الطريق للعمل المشترك بين الاتحاد الافريقي والامم المتحدة لحفظ السلام في دارفور تتألف اساسا من وبقيادة الافارقه. وتحظى بدعم وتمويل من الامم المتحدة ".

UN chiefالامم المتحدة رئيس Kofi Annan said in a statement earlier that the transformation of the current African Union mission into one also involving the world body had been agreed.كوفى عنان وجاء في بيان سابق ان التحول من بعثة الاتحاد الافريقي الحالية الى واحد يضم ايضا الهيءه العالمية تم الاتفاق عليه.

He said the UN and AU would call a meeting of all parties that have not signed a May peace deal -- mainly two Darfur rebel groups -- within two weeks to discuss the matter.وقال ان الامم المتحدة والاتحاد الافريقى لن يدعو الى عقد اجتماع لجميع الاطراف التى لم توقع على صفقة السلام -- رئيسي البلدين جماعات المتمردين فى دارفور -- غضون اسبوعين لمناقشة هذه المساله.

The war in Darfur erupted in February 2003 and since then at least 200,000 people have been killed and another 2.5 million others displaced.الحرب في دارفور اندلع في شباط 2003 ومنذ ذلك الوقت على الاقل 200،000 شخصا اخر وتشريد 2.5 مليون اخرين.

Annan's statement appeared to signal a change in the position of Khartoum, which has vehemently opposed any significant UN role in Darfur, arguing it would be a violation of its sovereignty and could worsen the situation there.انان في بيان يبدو اي اشارة الى تغيير في موقف الخرطوم الذي يعارض بشدة أي دور للأمم المتحدة في دارفور معتبرا انه يشكل انتهاكا لسيادته ويمكن ان تسوء الحاله.
