JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title : Technical Account Manager (Middle East)
Location : Dubai


JOB PURPOSE

• Provide pre-sales support to sales personnel for specified accounts or territories to drive revenues whilst maximising customer satisfaction.
• Develop a relationship with customers at all levels to ensure an appreciation of current and potential benefits available from products and services in their environment.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Pre-sales support

• Provide comprehensive pre-sales support to sales colleagues.
o Assist in prospect qualification
o Assists in maintaining accurate and current account plans
o Develop compelling, creative and value-added solutions
• Be regarded by the customer as a trusted advisor.
• Understand the customer’s environment and support the customer with the development of their storage strategy.
• Design storage solutions to represent the optimum technical solution for a customer’s business applications.
• Identify / create sales opportunities for the product, solutions and services portfolio.
• Own the technical relationships within assigned accounts answering all relevant customer technical issues and be the point of contact for proposed changes and enhancements to the deployed infrastructure.
• Ensure solution is Systems Assured raising any necessary ISRs and is subsequently signed-off by the customer.
• Deliver formal presentations and coordinate demonstrations of Storage Solutions and Consultancy Services to customer/prospect staff.
• Preparation / co-ordination of proposals and (in conjunction with SBMs) SoWs for Storage Solutions and Consultancy Services.
• Advise on industry-wide technologies, and directions.
• Provide customer with competitive product / solution comparisons.
• Ensure proposed solutions are recorded in Matrix.
• Support GSS in their delivery and participate in project review meetings.
• Ensure solution performs at the customer site to it’s full potential and that customer personnel are aware of the benefits provided




• Take advantage of all types of available education material and methods to broaden skills and develop agreed areas of specialisation
• Perform other duties as required or directed by management
• Mastering of Matrix tool
