The
Sudan Radio Service is designed to link the ongoing
Sudan peace process and peace building efforts with
initiatives that engender good governance and deepen
the participation of all Sudanese in affairs that
most effect them.


The
radio service presents a diverse mix of timely and
relevant programming broadcast in 9 Sudanese languages
by Sudanese presenters. SRS is being implemented
by Education Development Center (EDC) in Nairobi,
Kenya but will relocate to Sudan once conditions
allow.

Objectives


To
inform Sudanese on matters relating to the ongoing
peace process.

To provide balanced news and information relating
to issues such as education,

health, culture, women's issues, civic education,
agriculture, and more

To build capacity of Sudanese journalists and media
partners

and information to the people of Sudan living both
in Sudan and abroad.

their mission is to equip the people of Sudan with
the knowledge and tools to participate more fully
in peace making and national development processes
in their country through programs of education and

Sudan in which all cultures and traditions are valued

towards race, nationality, religious or political
affiliation, opinion or gender.
