Universities will be tasked with helping arrivals find housing and work.Employer Route: A separate scheme enabling employers to sponsor refugees directly is anticipated to launch next year.Community Sponsorship: Select community groups and organizations will be authorized to sponsor eligible refugees in a system that coordinates directly with the UNHCR.These changes have been introduced alongside wider reforms to immigration policy, which seek to tighten family definitions and change human rights laws to facilitate the deportation of individuals who are in the country illegally.
