اتهمونا بالبنقو الحشيش
مديتلو تمره وزهرتين
مدالي مية طلقه ليش؟
هجمونا والبنوت نيام
درشونا بالدوشكات دريش
جيناهم قالد وطن
غدرونا في نص الهويش
في حرمة الشهر العظيم
حتونا زي كفار قريش
مديتلو تمره وزهرتين
اداني مية طلقة ليش ؟

يا امي لازم تعفي لي
شان زغت خليتكم نيام
كان بالي في الترس الهناك

وتكتبو فوق لتربتي

They smashed us with the Doshkas into rubble
We came to them to embrace the nation
But they betrayed us in the midst of the muddle
In the sanctity of the esteemed month,

They thrashed us out like Guraish infidels

I offered him a palm date and two roses
Why is he offering me back hundred bullets ؟؟؟

O mother
You have to forgive me,
Cause I sneaked out, while you were sleeping
I was pondering about the blockade over there
The people there were fasting and asleep in the tents

A bullet came straight to my liver
Throw me dead
No murmur no talk
Don’t cry mother, don’t mourn me
Say my greetings to the blockade
And write this on my graveyard:
Civility, Freedom and peace
