الرئيس السيسي يحيي ذكرى الانتصار المصري في حرب 1973 خلال ندوة للاحتفال بحرب 1973، أقر الرئيس السيسي بالصعوبات الهائلة التي واجهها الشعب المصري في الفترة من 1967 إلى 1973 بسبب تخصيص الجيش لموارد البلاد. وعلى الرغم من التحديات، بذل المصريون جهدًا وإصرارًا كبيرًا لتحويل هزيمتهم إلى نصر، حتى أنهم أبهروا خصومهم الإسرائيليين. كما أشار الرئيس السيسي إلى أن رحيل الرئيس الراحل عبد الناصر وجه ضربة أخرى للشعب المصري، باعتباره عنصرا أساسيا في قوى الوطن الشاملة. وفي إطار الحفل، قدم الرئيس السيسي تكريمًا لمختلف "الأبطال" الذين قاتلوا في حرب أكتوبر.
وأشاد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي بجهود القوات المسلحة خلال الندوة الثقافية للاحتفال بحرب أكتوبر. وذكر أن انتصار الجيش المصري خلال تلك الفترة لم يحقق النجاح في الحرب فحسب، بل دفع البلاد إلى الأمام أيضًا. وذكر الرئيس أن من عاش الفترة الوحشية بين عامي 1967 و1973 سيفهم حجم الإنجاز. ورغم الفارق الكبير في القوة والخوف والهزائم السابقة، إلا أن القوات المسلحة تمكنت من الخروج منتصرة. وأكد السيسي أن نجاح مصر في الحرب كان منقطع النظير ولم يكن من الممكن أن يحققه إلا المصريون.

في إطار الاحتفال بالذكرى الخمسين لانتصارات أكتوبر المجيدة، قامتمن قِبل القوات المسلحة .وتضمنت الاحتفالية زيارات منزلية لأسر الشهداء ومصابي العمليات الحربية في مختلف المحافظات الجمهورية، وذلك في إطار الجيوش الميدانية والمناطق العسكرية. وتأتي هذه الاحتفالية لإظهار الاحترام والتقدير لأبطال القوات المسلحة الذين قدّموا أرواحهم في سبيل الوطن والشعب .
وعلى الجانب الآخر عبر أبناء وأسر الشهداء ومصابي العمليات الحربية عن شكرهم الكبير وسعادتهم الغامرة للقوات المسلحة، التي لطالما قدمت لهم الرعاية والدعم الكامل في شتى مناحِ الحياة . كما أكدوا أن إنجازات وتضحيات آبائهم لم تذهب سدى فهي الحافز الحقيقي الذي يدفعهم للمضي قدمًا في خدمة الوطن والشعب.

President Sisi Commemorates Egypt's 1973 War Victory During a seminar celebrating the 1973 war, President Sisi acknowledged the enormous hardships faced by the Egyptian people from 1967 to 1973 due to the military's allocation of the country's resources. Despite the challenges, the Egyptians made great effort and determination to turn their defeat into victory, even impressing their Israeli opponents. President Sisi also pointed out that the departure of the late President Abdel Nasser dealt another blow to the Egyptian people, as they are an essential element in the nation's comprehensive forces. As part of the ceremony, President Sisi paid tribute to the various "heroes" who fought in the October War.
President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi praised the efforts of the armed forces during the cultural symposium to celebrate the October War. He stated that the Egyptian Army's victory during this period not only achieved success in the war, but also moved the country forward. The President stated that those who had lived through the brutal period from 1967 to 1973 would understand the scale of the achievement. Despite large differences in strength and fear and previous defeats, the armed forces managed to emerge victorious. Sisi asserted that Egypt's success in the war was unprecedented and could only be achieved by Egyptians.
The sons of martyrs and those injured in military operations were honored in the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the glorious October victories.
Within the framework of the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the glorious October victories, the armed forces held home visits to the families of martyrs and those injured in military operations in various governorates of the Republic, within the framework of field armies and military regions. This celebration comes to show respect and appreciation for the heroes of the armed forces who gave their lives for the sake of the homeland and the people.
On the other hand, the children and families of the martyrs and victims of the hostilities expressed their profound gratitude and happiness to the armed forces, which have always provided them with care and full support in all walks of life. They also stressed that the achievements and sacrifices of their parents have not been in vain, as they are the real incentive to move forward in serving the nation and the people.
