The Greensboro College
Joey Cheek International Scholarship


To honor Joey Cheek as a local American hero Greensboro College has established the Joey Cheek International Scholarship. This scholarship will focus on Cheek’s specific passion – helping the people in the Darfur region of Sudan. A full four-year scholarship will be awarded to a student from this region. Greensboro College has also committed to raise additional funds to ensure that the scholarship recipient will have all living expenses paid through out their education period.
