تمكن فريق الهلال السوداني الفوز والتأهل لدور الأربعة في البطولة العربية (النسخة الثالثة) على حساب الوداد المغربي بنتيجة 2/3 حيث أنتهت المباراة الاولى بينهما بفوز الهلال بهدف وحيد
وحقق التأهل بفارق الاهداف.
وسيواجه الهلال من جديد في دور الأربعة فريق مغربي آخر هو الرجاء البيضاوي والذي يعتبر من أقوى الفرق المغربية
نهني أنفسنا وفريق الهلال وجماهيره العريضة متنين له تحقيق كأس البطولة العربية

مبروك للسودان والهلال يسجل بأحرف من نور مسيرة السودان الرياضية فى خارطة الكرةالعربية التى سخرت من الهلال ممثلة فى قناة ARTومتى بذل الهلال وطاقمه الفنى مزيدا من الاعداد المبكر فسنرى هلالا يشع مرة اخرى فى سماء المغرب

We use in the seventies of the last century to know by heart all the players of Al-Hilal such as Gaga, al-Dahish, Kassala, Zughbeir, Tarig Ahmed Adam etc., and some of the prominent players in al-Morada and al-Meriekh. Now, football in the Sudan is like the Inghaz. Since 1990, I do not think I know one name of any Hilal players. So celeberating any triumph of Hilal means nothing because the Sudan football is history.
