يرجى من المقيمين السودانيين في المملكة المتحدة التوقيع على هذه العريضة الإلكترونية لإدانة استخدام السلطات السودانية للعنف المفرط والقاتل ضد المتظاهرين، والضغط من أجل تحقيق تغيير ديمقراطي في البلاد.
كما يرجى من الجميع توزيعها على كافة معارفهم ليشاركوا.

للأسف لا يمكن للمقيمين خارج المملكة المتحدة المشاركة في هذه العريضة لأنها ستقدم إلى البرلمان البريطاني للنظر فيها واتخاذ إجراء سياسي مناسب.

الهدف الأوّلي في هذه المرحلة هو الوصول إلى عدد 10 آلآف موقّع على العريضة، لأن الحكومة ستكون مُلزمة حينها من الناحية القانونية بتقديم إجابة عليها.

النص المرفق أدناه باللغة الإنجليزية هو مجرد نص مقترح (قابل للتعديل بالطبع حسب ما تراه مناسبا) لإرساله لغير السودانيين مع الدعوة للتوقيع على العريضة الإلكترونية، وذلك لتعريفهم بأسباب مناشدتهم للتوقيع والتعبير عن تضامنهم مع الشعب السوداني.

I seek your support, by signing this petition, against the brutal crackdown by Sudanese security forces on the peaceful protests in Sudan, in addition to the official denial of the basic freedoms of assembly, expression or organisation.

These peaceful protests came as a spontaneous response to the dire living conditions, and the police-state policies of the regime, that has dismantled the social, economic and political fabric of the country, and earned Sudan the designation of ‘State sponsor of terrorism’, and to led to the issue of an arrest warrant against president Omer Albashir, by the International criminal court, for crimes against humanity.

The heavy-handed response by the government and use of live ammunition and snipers to hunt down protesters blatantly violates national and international conventions on human rights, and has already led to dozens of causalities, several hundred injuries, and more than a thousand have been detained in the ghastly dentition centres of the security forces.

All the above have been verified and corroborated by renowned entities such as Amnesty International, and UN organisations and diplomatic missions in Khartoum. Moreover, it has been condemned by the governments of UK, USA, Norway, EU and many others.

Since seizing power in 1989 through a military coup, this regime has shamelessly and incessantly carried out a policy of terrorising its citizens, and adopts an open policy of ethnical cleansing, especially against the people of Darfur and Blue Nile regions.

In the name of humanity, please express your solidarity with the Sudanese people!
