رابط مختصراستأجرنظام البشير مكتب محاماة تدعى Squire Patton Boggs بأكثر من 40 الف دولار شهريا لرفع العقوبات الأمريكية وذلك اعتبارا من 31 مايو 2017 أدناه دعوة من فيث ماكدونالد من منظمة IRD لتنظيم مظاهرة احتجاج امام مكتب المحاماة المذكور في واشنطن دى سي يوم 19 يونيو من الساعة الثانية الى الثالثة والنصف ظهرا. لمكتب المحاماة فروع في دول كثيرة وعلى الناشطين في أوروبا تنظيم مظاهرات مماثلة امام مكاتب هذه الشركة التي تتسول على دماء الأبرياء في دارفور وجبال النوبة والنيل الأزرق وعذابات شعب السودان .. هيا قوموا الى احتجاجاتكم وعبروا عن غضبكم الجبار ضد تجار الحروب...Squire Patton Boggs is a global law firm. The Sudan government is paying them $40,000/month to get US sanctions lifted and to normalize relations with the U.S., which will mean legitimizing the regime worldwide.  See attached. IRD is organizing protests outside of Squire's Washington, DC office on Monday, June 19th, at 2pm - 3:30pm EST. Protesting outside of their other offices will help put pressure on the firm as partners do not want bad publicity in their local markets. I think we want to focus our messaging along the lines of... Squire Patton Boggs is profiting from a regime that...- are known sponsors of terrorism- serves as a middle man for Qatar to fund terrorism- uses chemical weapons against its citizens- is wanted by the ICC for genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes- arrests and tortures human rights defenders- blocks food and medicine from reaching the people of Sudan- uses rape as a weapon of war We also want to use the opportunity to protest the lifting of sanctions for all of the reasons (and more) listed above. Typically in the U.S. if people hold signs, don't block the sidewalks and keep walking, a permit is not needed. Below is a list of their offices.  If you can participate, please let me know.  We will want to notify the press and take lots of pictures. CincinnatiClevelandColumbusDallasDenverHoustonLos AngelesMiamiNew YorkNewarkNorth Virginia Palo AltoPhoenixSan Francisco - protest at 11am PSTSanto DomingoTampaWest Palm BeachParisLondonOther European Offices Middle East Offices Asia Pacific Offices The regime has gotten away with murder for far too long and anyone who helps them should be put to shame. Thank you, Esther
