Solitude is a frequent subject of Tuareg songs and poetry, as nomads are habitually living far from their homes or society. This happens because the usual nomadic itinerary, droughts or armed conflicts that lead to escape into exile. Bombino is asking the world to tell him the solution to the problem of solitude because it hurts his heart. He becomes sick from solitude and is looking for a cure.
