JANAZAH (FUNERAL) PRAYER ANNOUNCEMENT
إِنَّا ِللهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
It is with sadness that we announce that :
Brother Ibrahim Sulaiman Ibrahim has passed away of Barton Hill, Bristol
Age: 40 years
The Janaza prayer will take place on:
Date and time : Friday 22nd Jan 2016 (JUMMA)
TIME: 1.00pm straight after JUMMA salat
The prayer will be held at :-
Shah Jalal Jame Mosque, 468 - 470 Stapleton Rd, Easton, Bristol, BS5 6PA
We would request that all brothers try to attend and to encourage others to attend as well.
Burial will take place afterwards at South Bristol Cemetery.

SORRY ON JUMMA NO SISTERS PRAYER FACILITIES
If you are not able to attend do make du'a for the deceased family
May Allah grant the deceased Jannah and grant them Paradise. Ameen
May Allah grant the family patience at this difficult time. Ameen.
As Muslims we are highly encouraged to attend the funeral of another
Muslim as encouraged in the following sayings of the Prophet
(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) below:
1) The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"The duties of a Muslim towards his fellow Muslim are five: to return his greeting,
visit him when he is sick, follow his funeral, accept invitations and say 'Yarhamuk-Allaah
(May Allah have mercy on you) when he sneezes)."
(Related in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)
2) The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"Whoever attends a funeral and prays over the deceased will have one qeeraat (of reward),
and whoever attends until the deceased is buried will have two qeeraats." He was asked,
'What are these two qeeraats؟" He said, "Like two huge mountains."
