Wal Abba, Al Fahal
Here are part of our culture
رحلتى الصيف والشتاء .. التى ذكرها القرآن نطبقها نحن البقارة فى السودان
Baggara have been for almost five hundred good years migrating in Round-Robin nomadic migration; they migrate from south to north during rainy season and from north to south during summer season. Such migration becomes part of their nomadic legacy and culture. They write poems and sing songs praising such seasonal migration. Their live and livelihood are closely linked to and adapted to such migrations. Similarly their social life and economic practices are tightly connected to the migration seasons – marriages mostly occur during rainy season; schooling during summer season.

Hi guys,
I like the idea of writing in English. I know that there is an English version of this board, but it is not popular at all. No one go there intentionally. Some people end-up there by mistake and they run away immediately. So, there is no point in writing in a place that is not attended. When we write, we want the world to read. They say, one way to enhance your English skills is by exposing your self. Put you self in action, make mistake and correct your self along the way. Being afraid and shy will not help you.

Writing clearly is not an art or something you have to be born with. It is something you can learn by practice. I remember the first time I tried to write a political piece for Massa Elkhair, when I was student at the University of Khartoum. It was hard like a hell. But by the time and practice, writing in Arabic became relatively easy. Though, I still have difficulties when it comes to English.

We do spend a lot of time in this board, writing and reading about various topics. We are doing it just as a hobby and to share our opinions about public issues. But there is room for better deal. You can enjoy your hobby, voice your opinion and gain something back as well. By enhancing your English writing you will boost your professional career, which means more money, better job and better life.

Let us write, make mistake and correct each other!

Thank you dear Abaas

fill with meaning
as you compare between
winter and summer migration
take a look
( الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُمْ مِنْ جُوعٍ وَآَمَنَهُمْ مِنْ خَوْفٍ )
Who has fed them,
[saving them] from hunger
and made them safe,
[saving them] from fear.
Just a question
? did Baggara found the safe

I'll wait for your phone number
pls
Sent it quickly

I do agree with you that most of the Sudanese( in the past, not at present, except those in the diaspora) mastered English and are proficient in the language . Mohammed Ahmed Majoub, the renowned statesman, former prime minister and foreign minister of the Sudan was not really termed by the media as Black English Man. It was Ahmed Mohammed Saleh. Wish you all the best Mr. Fahal.
