RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. - Police continue their search for a killer after a convenience store owner is gunned down in Riviera Beach Thanksgiving Night.

Luei Yagoub was a husband and a father of two. He owned Stop To Go located on Old Dixie Highway. Investigators said Luei was shot following an argument with a man.

His wife, Suzanne Yagoub said, "It was very senseless. He didn't deserve to get what he got."

Suzanne helped her husband hours before the shooting, serve turkey dinners at the store for those who didn’t have a meal.

She said she got a frantic call later on that night that her husband had been shot.

"He gave me a kiss, told me to go home and he'll see me when he gets home and he never made it home,” she said.

Suzanne said her husband, Luei was at the Stop To Go all day.

Police said the 45 year old was shot around 11:15.

"Halfway to the store, they re-routed me to the hospital because he was already there and when I got there they just made me wait.” said Suzanne. “I couldn't go in, they were working on him and then the doctor just came out and said that there was nothing they could do, he passed."

Married twenty years, the couple have two children.

Suzanne has not told her youngest child that his dad is gone.

She said, "He loved his family. His kids are what he lived for.”

Funeral arrangements are on hold for now. She’s hoping to grant his wish and bury him in Africa where’s he’s from.

“We talked about it one night and that was his wish. If anything was to happen to him, that's where he wants to rest, with his mom and dad,” said Suzanne.

The shooting is still under investigation.

Friends are setting up a Go Fund Me account which will go funeral expenses, which include transporting Luei’s body.

Suzanne has also set up a Luei Yagoub memorial fund with TD Bank.

انتقل الى رحمة الله تعالى اخي وصديقي وحبيبي المرحوم لؤي محمد يعقوب الحلو من أبناء التعايشة العباسية حي الأمراء تجمعني به علاقة حميمة حيث تجاورنا في حي الأمراء وكان عمه احمد ناظرنا في مدرسة العباسية وامتد العلاقة الي تورونتو حيث سكنا سوياً الي ان فرقت بِنَا سبل كسب العيش . نسأل الله تعالى أن يغفر له ويرحمه ويكرم نزله ويوسع مدخله وأن يجازيه بالحسنات إحسانا وعن السيئات عفواً وغفرانا .. وأن يغسله بالماء والثلج والبرد وأن ينقيه من الذنوب والخطايا كما ينقى الثوب الأبيض من الدنس .. وأن يخلف عليه بدار خير من داره اوأهل خير من أهله .. وأن يرزق ذويه الصبر والسلوان.
