religion is behavior and not mere belief

patience is the ability to put up with people you'd like to put down.

A wedding is an event, but marriage is an achievement.

the chief defect of a democracy is that only the political party out of office knows how to run the country

:"An other selections of Reader's Digest "quotable quotes

Even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

A weather forecast that says : " partly cloudy followed by partly sunny" is bound to be partly accurate.

There is a sufficiency in the world for a man's need but not for man's greed.

love looks through a telescope; envy, through a microscope

Another person's secret is like another person's money : you are not as careful with it as you are with your own

Work spares us from three devils : boredom, vice and need

A prudent man is like a pin; his head prevent him from going too far

one of the most difficult things to give away is kindness- it is usually returned

tact is the art of recognizing when to be big and when not to be little

never try to make anyone like yourself - you know, and God know, that one of you is enough

Human needs : some food, some sun , some work , sum fun , some-one

Yes, it has.
Where is it?
It’s in the oven.
