South Sudan said on Thursday it has received $1.3 billion from oil sales between June and October following resumption of oil production in April this year.

JUBA, 11 October 2013 [Gurtong] - A statement released by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mining said that; “the gross proceeds accrued from the sale of the Republic of South Sudan government entitlement during this period is $USD 1.3billion,” said the statement released.
“Tariffs and Transitional Financial Agreement (TFA) paid to Sudan on Dar Blend and Nile Blend is USD 284,380,000 and USD 45,000,000 respectively,” added the statement.
The Ministry explained that 11.8million and 1.8million barrels of Dar Blend in Upper Nile State and Nile Blend in Unity State respectively were produced in due course of the production.
South Sudan shutdown its oil production in January last year after it accused Khartoum of #####ng the resource.
A Cooperation deal mediated by the African Union and signed in September last year brought the two countries to compromise after they reached attempted to a war option in April last year.
In March this year, the two countries agreed to fully execute the deal which is now bettering their relations.

واضطر جنوب السودان لاقتراض 4,7 مليارات جنيه جنوب سوداني أو نحو 1,5 مليار دولار من الأسواق المحلية والأجنبية لسد احتياجاته خلال فترة توقف الإنتاج النفطي بحسب ما قاله وزير المالية أجري تيسا سابوني في وقت سابق هذا العام.
وقال مسؤولون إن جنوب السودان سدد ما يزيد عن 232 مليون دولار لسداد تلك الديون منذ استئناف إنتاج النفط.
وقال نيكوديموس أجاك بيور المتحدِّث باسم وزارة النفط، إن جنوب السودان ينتج 190 ألف برميل من النفط يومياً.

القانون الجديد يلزم وزارة النفط فى الجنوب الى اعلان الاموال التى تتحصل عليها الحكومة من مبيعات النفط بالتفصيل. كما ان القانون تلزم وزارة المالية التى تتحكم فى هذه الاموال باعلام البرلمان عن جهة كل دولار تنفق.
اللا ما نهب فى زمن الفات فقد فاته المولد.
