ماذا تريد أن تقول لزوجة المناضل رضوان داوؤد (Nancy Dawood)

الأمريكية نانسي داؤود هي زوجة المناضل رضوان داؤود. إلتقيا أول مرة في جنوب السودان و كانا يعملان كمتطوعين في بناء مدرسة "منوت بول" لاعب السلة السوداني المشهور و كان ذلك في عام 2009.

تزوجا قبل عامين و الآن تقطن نانسي في ولاية أريغون غرب الولايات المتحدة
و هي حامل بطفلها/تهاالأول/ى الذي/تي سوف يسميانه/ها "سودان"
توضيح: عندي صعوبة في كودات الجندرة ....فعذرا.

I wrote a poem on Rudwan the other day
It was inspired by his photos, the current events in Sudan and
the plight of our detainees
Rudwan is on his way to be a leader
so let us help him with patience and endurance
On the personal level I wish you reunite soon

Rudhwan
Our Rudhwan
Bright
Pleasant
One of a race!

A jubilant bird song
A pregnant cloud
That soon will burst.

Our Rudhwan
Bright and proud
He never bends,
Except to see his hands
Cuffed in iron
For an honest word he shout
Received –by them- in disdain

Oh, truth advocate
Rudhwan,
Clean tongued
Their voices will die…
And yours will remain.

Your eloquent tongue…
Is more effective than mighty weapons
Can they win?
Your stamina is unbreakable
Against showers of bullets!
They sure would fail
But you will gain.

They kept you hanging
To say what they breach
They found your words
A lesson to teach
They always stop
At “Peace”
You kept it fast:
The meaning of justice:
The freedom for all…..
You summed the case!

Rudhwan tell me
Tell me Rudhwan,
Have they tortured thee?
What law they used?
Was it Religion?
What rules deny a citizen
The right to live safe and free?
How come they say
It is blasphemy?

Oh, them…
The wretched
They are the losers

Dear Mrs Dawood
Rudwan is not in jail facing a trial! He is where he actually belongs which is the hearts of the Sudanese freedom fighters , we all very proud of him and you! You both are setting example for future generations

ان الظلم ليلته قصيرة
غدا يشرق الصباح
يخرج رضوان من سجن الطغاة
ويخرج كل المعتقلين والمعتقلات من سجون الجبهة الاسلامية

- Rudwan has paid and is paying the ultimate price of freedom, giving up his own safety and prosperity for for the safety and prosperity of his fellow citizens. Rudwan and his fellow freedom fighters are why we still have hopes in the future of our country, that one day soon the sun will rise and children in those far neglected villages will have schools to go to and dreams to hang on to. Don't be sorry for him rather be proud as he choose to face and fight the forces of the dark ages, those who have caused the biggest human tragedy known to man kind. (Sudan) the daughter will one day shout proudly that her father was one of those who fought to lay the foundation of free, prospers and democratic Sudan
