STOP ATTACKS ON MOSQUES IN SUDAN
The brutal NCP dictatorship in Sudan has resorted to firing tear gas into
mosques and using rubber bullets against attendees at Friday prayers in
neighbourhoods known to support traditional Islamic parties rather than the
extremist NCP, as they desperately try to cover up growing protests calling
for their resignation. (For example, the Sayyid Abdelrahman mosque n Wad
Nubawi, Omdurman last Friday.)
Mosques must be places of peace where anyone is free to come and pray. The
NCP must not be allowed to get away with using the name of Islam while they
are butchering Muslims not only in Darfur, Nuba Mountains, Blue Nile and
Eastern Sudan, but now in Khartoum and Omdurman too.
Without the NCP's policy of dividing Arab and African tribes against each
other, and marginalising people in the peripheries of Sudan, the separation
of South Sudan might never have happened. The longer they stay in power the
more likely those in the West who would like to see Sudan break up further
and who would welcome Darfuris or Nuba people calling for independence,
will get their way.
Please call on the Sudanese Ambassador in London, His Excellency Abdullahi
Alazreg (Embassy of the Republic of Sudan. 3 Cleveland Row, London, SW1A
1DD / 020 7839 8080) to stop all attacks on mosques, and on the Arab League

pressure on the Government of Sudan to release all political detainees.
أوقفوا الهجوم على المساجد فى السودان
يستهدف النظام السودانى برئاسة عمر البشير المصليين فى المساجد بالغاز المسيل للدموع والرصاص المطاطى فى
محاولة يائسة لقمع المظاهرات التى تطالب برحيل نظام الفساد والإستبداد وعلى سبيل المثال لا الحصر مهاجمة
مسجد السيد عبد الرحمن بود نوباوى فى مدينة أمدرمان الجمعة الماضية 6 يوليو 2012.
يجب أن تظل المساجد أماكن آمنة حيث يستطيع أى شخص الصلاة بحرية وسلام . ويجب عدم السماح للمؤتمر الوطنى ( الحزب الحاكم ) الإفلات من
العقاب على جرائمه هذه بأسم الدين وقتل الأبرياء فى دارفور ، جنوب كردفان ، النيل الأزرق ، شرق السودان والآن فى مدينتى الخرطوم وأمدرمان .
ولولا سياسة التفرقة العنصرية والجهوية لأبناء الوطن الواحد لقبائل أفريقية وعربية وتهميشهم التى يتبناها المؤتمر الوطنى
لما إختار جنوب السودان الإستقلال عن أكبر قطر فى أفريقيا . إن بقاء المؤتمر الوطنى فى الحكم يعنى مزيدا من الحروب والتشظى كما تتمنى كثيرا من الدوائر الغربية
أن ترى السودان مقسما الى دويلات
