My name is Lisa Braff, and I am work with Lutheran Social Services of New York' refugee resettlement program. I am reaching out to you because we are resettling an Arabic-speaking Sudanese refugee, living in Egypt for the past few years, and we are in need of assistance in locating housing.
We are in desperate need of a room for this refugee. He was resettled on extremely short notice, and an inn has agreed to house him for the first couple of nights, but we are looking for any ideas for short- or long-term housing for him.
If you have any ideas for housing or community contacts, they would be so greatly appreciated.
