This will be the first medical mission by AWCAA to Sudan. We are seeking your financial support for this trip. Past missions to other countries can be viewed on our website at: www.awcaa.org Our goal is to educate and screen over 1,000 women on this trip. With our team of breast surgeons, surgeries will be performed at NO COSTS to women in need. Last year, on a mission to Anambra, Nigeria (led by Dr. Onyewu, Chairman of AWCAA) we performed 9 biopsies, 3 mastectomies, 1 lumpectomy and 1 full breast reconstruction on a post mastectomy patient. AWCAA representatives will leave the United States on Sunday June 26, 2011 to Sudan and will return on July 9, 2011. The estimated cost for this trip is eighteen thousand dollars ($18,000). This includes travel expenses for the medical team (twelve in number) and freight costs for medications, equipment and supplies. We humbly seek your support and generous donations to help defray the costs of the medical mission. The African Women’s Cancer Awareness Association is a 501(c) 3 organization committed to promoting cancer education and prevention among African women. We advocate for improved cancer screenings, diagnosis and treatment for African women who lack health insurance and live in medically underserved communities. جميعنا يحلم بسودان معافي من الامراض فما بالنا بمرض فتاك مثل السرطان

من نعم الله علي اهلنا في السودان وعلي النساء تحديدا ان تنظم رحله طبية بهذا العدد من الاختصاصيين

لذا لابد من دعم هذا المشروع الطبي والخيري في المقام الاول بكل ما نملك

واعلم تماما كيف جاهدت اختنا حنان بأن تجد لها موطأ قدم في هذه المنظمة لتمثل السودان

انه عمل عظيم يضاف لميزان حسناتها هي ومن يعمل معها

اتمني ان تكلل جهود وصول الوفد الطبي الي السودان وبالتالي الاسهام في فحص واكتشاف المصابات والعمل من اجل شفائهن

والتحية والتقدير للاخوة الفنانيين الذي عهدناهم دائما يتقدمون الصفوف من اجل رسم الابتسامة والسرور علي كل الوجوه
