بينما تواصل اجهزة القمع للنظام الحاكم في السودان باسم النظام العام نشاطا لا انسانيا قبيحا بغرض اذلال المراة السودانية في سبيل اهانة للانسان السوداني عموما كانت هنالك سيدة سودانية من رحم المراة السودانية التي تعاني كثيرا تنال جائزة عالمية لحقوق الانسان عرفانا لدورها الانساني المميز...

Sarah Cleto Rial, a native of southern Sudan, delivers remakes during ceremonies December 10, 2010, at the US State Deptment in Washington, DC as she is presented the Eleanor Roosevelt Award for Human Rights. Rial is a grassroots organizer in the diaspora and Sudan helping girls and women peacemakers. Rial is the program director for My Sisters Keeper, a Boston-based Non Governmental Organization that works to advance political, social and economic justice for women and girls in Sudan. The Eleanor Roosevelt Award for Human Rights was established by US Secretary of State Albright in 1998, at the direction of US President Clinton. The Award honors US citizens who, like Eleanor Roosevelt herself, advocate tirelessly for human rights, both at home and abroad.



وقالت بعد استلامها امس الجائزة بانها تقدير لكل النساء السودانيات اللواتي عانين ويعانين كثير من المصاعب وساهمن بالكثير من اجل الوطن

She said the award was a tribute to Sudanese women everywhere. "We have endured hardships and contributed much to our country, but we have always been relegated to the shadow. This award allows us to come out and tell you and tell the world that Sudanese women have been and are here to ensure that there is lasting peace in our homeland," she said
