رسالة من البروفيسور طارق الهد حول برنامج تدريب الاطباء فى بريطانيا (MTI Scheme)

كنت قد نقلت فى بوست سابق رسالة الكلية الملكية البريطانية للاطباء للأخ البروفيسور طارق الهد زميل الكلية الملكية بخصوص برنامج التدريب فى بريطانيا للاطباء السودانيين . وقد علقت زميلة البورد الاخت د.ندى بتوجس حول عملية الاختيار لهذا البرنامج (وانا اشكر لها ذلك) وقد عكست هذه النقطة للبروف الهد لاهميتها ولازاله هذه الهواجس والتى قد تراود كثيرين وتلقيت الرد سريعا من البروف طارق الذى اكد على استقلالية وشفافية هذا البرنامج وعدم تبعيته لاية جهه حكومية مثل وزارة الصحة وان القائمين على امر البرنامج فى السودان تم اختيارهم من اتحاد الاطباء ومجلس التخصصات الطبية وان البرنامج يخضع لرقابة مباشرة من الكلية الملكية البريطانية .

نرجو ان يكون ها التوضيح كافيا لازالة اية انطباعات خاطئة عن البرنامج واود ان اعبر عن عميق شكرى للبروف طارق الهد على هذه الرسالة .

The MTI Scheme which has been designed by RCP of London to benefit eligible candidates from several countries including Sudan (which de facto have been one of the first countries to enroll) is both transparent & independent scheme which has no affiliation to any body or any organization or any other group. Univ. The scheme is NOT owned by anybody or any group including the Ministry of Health, Sudan. The selection for the interview is based upon sets of criteria based purely on professional merits. None of the criteria has got any personal or other hierarchy influence, neither in Sudan nor abroad. Quote: Dear Professor Tarik, Dr. Shadad ,colleagues at medics I think this is good time to reassure our colleagues about the process of selection for the MTI scheme. As one of the doctors who applied and selected to the scheme in its first round , i would like to stress the point that the selection to the scheme was completely transparent . Any candidate who fulfilled the criteria was shortlisted and interviewed by the interview panel (with Royal College representatives and senior physicians from Sudan ). The selection was based mainly on criteria of post graduate degree, professional experience,and fluency in English language. In fact two of our colleagues have their visas processed and are supposed to join their hospitals shortly-before the end of 2010. This scheme is sponsored by the Royal college with full support from the International office of the royal college regarding registration with the GMC and visa and i urge any colleague who fulfills the criteria to apply.
