dear friend and brother Fathi kindly post these remarks as they are intended to open amore useful and enlighteneddialogueover Sudanese identities. For long Sudanese have mistakenly thought of themselves as either Arabs orBlack africans. Also they divided their country between North andSouth, and finally they thought that the Sudan is a causeway between Africa and Arabs or crossroad of Africa. Some simplisticand foolish are the ideologiesof pan Arabism,New Sudan or Marginalisation notions>Allcoupled with Religious Fanaticism and secular radicalisation. In fact thepresent Sudanese State was formed as aresult of incorporation byThe TurcoEgyptian rule or by British colonialism of the Following Culture areas of Africa:- 1 the Middle eastern parts{parts inhibited byArabs or Arabised tribes},2 The Eastern Sudan{ Sudanic kingdom of fur, moesabaat and tagali-Fur,kordofaniand Nuba mountians peoples-who constitute part of West Africa}3The Horn of africa{those Sudanese areas neighbouring Ethiopia and Eriteria}4 East africa cattle owners of upper Nile and eastern equatoria-Who are seperated by bahr Aljabal from the% Bantu Southern Sudanese who belong to awider culture areaextending from Central Africa toAngola.each of these areas has adifferent cultural traditionand attitudes and aspirations. So to which afrophiles belong Those who thought Influences of Arabism and islam are diminished and that garaang is indeed taking over.

ِDear Fathi, salam
Afrophiles? I hope it is not the opposite of Afrophobic brother Bashasha used to describe the psychology of Dr. Abdel Alla li Ibrahim. However, I understand what Dr. Akasha is talking about, which I would call Afrocentric
Back to the issue: I think is more than just simplification to state that:
Quote: Some simplistic and foolish are the ideologiesof pan Arabism,New Sudan or Marginalisation notions

To conduct a useful discusion, terms should be carefully explained and ideas elaborated. I hope that Dr. Ahmed would explain that part i quoted
