Police charge third suspect in death of Sudanese man

Metro police detectives yesterday arrested a third suspect in the shooting death last week of Moses Pieny, one of the ''Lost Boys of Sudan'' who escaped that country's civil war.

He had come to live here several months ago.

Donvasus Dejuan Watts, 21, made arrangements to surrender late Tuesday and was booked yesterday morning on charges of criminal homicide, police said. Police said they suspect Watts was the trigger man in Pieny's death.

A fourth suspect, Joshua A. Capleton, 17, was still being sought by police. A juvenile warrant for criminal homicide has been issued for him.

Taurus Payne, 21, and Jenaline Fisher, 20, were charged Tuesday in the case.

Police say Pieny was lured to Fisher's Fourth Avenue North residence last Thursday, where he was robbed by the four and shot.

His body was dumped in a vacant lot on Goff Street, where it was discovered Friday.
