Nima Elbagir is a reporter with More4 News. Born in Khartoum, 1978, she was educated in Sudan and England. She has a BA in Philosophy from London School of Economics. Fluent in English and Arabic, she specialises in International Affairs reporting. She was nominated for three awards this year for her courage to venture out of her safety zone to explore and be the voice of the people of war-filled areas such as Darfur.
Her recent exclusives include exposing rape allegations against the African Union in Darfur [1],getting the first interview with the Aegis security company whistleblower on the Iraq Trophy Videos[2], interviewing Jacob Zuma in the run-up to his recent rape trial.
