Expression of Gratitude -- شكر و عرفان من لورا بن و اسرة الراحل بروفسور امبروز بن

ادناه رسالة من الاخت لورا بن تعبّر فيها عن تقديرها و تقدير الاسرة لكل من اتصل بها او كتب معزيا فى والدها المرحوم بروفسور امبروز بن. تقول لورا ان والدها دفن فى يرول يوم 7 مارس، 2008، بجوار والدته كولانج مو كاتشول، بعد ثلاث ايام من الطقوس الاحتفائية حسب تقاليد الدينكا(اتووت).. احتفاء بحياة والدها الراحل، و احتفاء بجمال التواصل و الاستمرارية بين الاحياء و الاسلاف.

اتمنى ان اجد الوقت لترجمة بقية محتوى الرسالة.

I am very grateful for all of the people who have been emailing and
calling with their condolences to me and my siblings. I am also amazed

at all the people my Father touched in some way (even despite the many
years of exile from his Beloved Sudan) and the diversity of regions in
the Sudan from which his friends came. I have not had a chance to
respond to everyone personally, because I was in Sudan and now that I'm

back I'm still going through the grieving process.

However, could you share with those on your Sudanese website my and my
family's sincere gratitude. I'm especially grateful for those who
wrote and called with specific and heartwarming memories of my father.

As soon as possible, I am going to respond individually to everybody
who wrote and if I miss anybody, I apologize in advance.

Please share this: we buried my father beside his dear mother, Kulang
Mou Kacuol, in Panebei, Yirol on March 7, 2008. We experienced a
beautiful three days of Atuot Dinka traditional burial rites. It was a

celebratory occasion and I will forever remember it. We cried and
mourned our loss, of course, but we also danced Dinka style durinng the

sacrificial rights to celebrate life and the beautiful continuity
between the living and the ancestors.
