JOB TITLE: EDP System Analyst I (I)



DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The consultant will be working on the design and development of R&RDPD suite of web applications mainly the Integrated Planning System and all the sub-systems involved in the Business Plan Process such as Investment Decision Analysis System (IDAS), Long-Range Drilling System (LDS) and Crude Slate Systems (CSS) as well as other supporting systems. The main technologies required are J2EE, oracle DB and Object oriented design experience.
SKILLS REQUIRED AND ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

10 years of applications design and development. 2-4 years of web development using Java, Java scripts, HTML and XML. Extensive knowledge in Objected-Oriented Programming, Component-based Development. General Knowledge in C and C++ programming language. Extensive knowledge in Oracle database, stored procedures and SQL. BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Experience in J-Builder and Jakarta Struts J2EE development environments. Web report designing tools (Crystal Reports). Bea Web logic development environment. Petroleum Engineering background.
