Let's Sing Chorus of Peace, Says President Kiir.[/B]

Hundreds of thousands of Sudanese in Juba turned out to welcome the Sudan 1st Vice President, and a President of Government South Sudan, 1st Lt Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit. The crowd expressed their support and solidarity in his quest to maintain peace in Sudan. All political parties including the NCP members from South Sudan articulated their support to the wisdom demonstrated by the SPLM leadership under Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit. People from Darfur and North Sudan who reside in Juba also turned up in support of the 1st Vice President of the Republic, and a President of the Government of South Sudan visit to USA, and Kenya.

President Kiir's flight was to day delayed for two hours. He arrived to Juba at Midday under blazing heat (temperature at 35c), nevertheless no one left before the President concluded his Speech. Although delayed in flight was entirely not in the hand of Gen. Salva Kiir, he sympathized with the crown and thus apologized for the flight delay. One can visibly read that the Gen. Salva's popularity among the Sudanese community doubled over this crisis and so is people's hope in SPLM.

The 1st Vice President and a President of GOSS said that "CPA is changing lives of the Sudanese people for better therefore; we must implement it fully so that Sudanese continue to enjoy the dividends of peace. The SPLM is committed to peace it has signed and will continue to honor it".

NCP Leadership Call for Jihad

Couple of days ago Field Marshal Omer Hassan Al Bashir, the president of the Republic of Sudan on 17th Nov, 2007 call for reopening of Mujahedeen training camps so that they prepare for jihad in south Sudan. Mujahedeen was a militia organization that had terrorized South Sudan during the decade of war. The organization suddenly disappeared from the scene or went underground soon after signing the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA).

In response to this call President Kiir said, "The SPLM under my leadership shall never take Sudan back to war, nevertheless, South Sudan deserve the right to self defense. The SPLM during my rein will never let the people of the Sudan down". He told those in the NCP who are agitating for war that "Nobody has the monopoly of war nor does weapon fight alone".

Gen. Salva also appreciates Southern Sudanese for their display of maturity when they heard of declaration of jihad against them. He also urges them to ignore "those (of NCP) who resort to killing the CPA through agitation of war, but instead join him to sing chorus of peace".

President Kiir told Sudanese that, "You should not heed those who call for war because God has blessed you with children who you must not accept to be used as tool of war for individual selfish interest. I do not want our youth to be taken for granted by any individuals who want to sustain their selfish quest for power either. National Army must only defend the Sudan's sovereignty".

Conspiracy Through Visit to USA and Kenya

His visit to Kenya and US raised complaint among components of the NCP in Government of National Unity, but he said "My visit to peace loving countries like USA, Kenya and UN, was to mobilize for support for peace in Sudan, but it is surprising it disturbs some elements in the NCP. My visit was fruitful", he added. The NCP components in the Government of National Unity accuse him of conspiring against Sudan to USA. In response, President Kiir said that "I am a Sudanese therefore; I cannot conspired against myself.

President Kiir also defended the IPB decision to recall Presidential Advisers and ministers from the Government of Unity. He that "The decision was intended to rescue the CPA… it has triggered debate within Sudan on the most needed democratic transformation". The SPLM Political Bureau on 4th to 11th October, 2007 deliberated over the violations on the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA). Subsequently the IPB decide to recall the SPLM Presidential Advisers, Ministers and State Ministers from Government of National Unity in which the NCP enjoy vast major

Keys Issues to Be Implemented before Jan 2008

Some key issues that must be implemented Jan 9th 2008 are:

(1) Abyei Protocol

(2) Redeployment of Sudan Arm Forces to North Borders

(3) Demarcation of North South Borders

(4) Good will to Democratic transformation of the Sudan

(5) National Reconciliation,

(6) Transparency in Oil Revenue,

(7) Funding for Census, etc.

Dissolutions of Abyei Boundary Commission (ABC)

It was recently reported in the Sudan media agencies that the NCP leadership is calling for dissolution of the ABC. But President Kiir said that ABC is in the heart of the constitution of the Sudan so calling for its dissolution is an attempt to overthrow the constitutional of the land. Khartoum rejected the experts findings the Abyei Borders saying the experts have gone beyond their mandate, in addition refused to meet the experts so as to defend their findings in person.

Yambio Killing

GOSS President, H.E. Gen. Salva Kiir condemned the killing of the Officers and a civilian, which took place in Yambio few weeks ago. He ordered for the arrest of those behind the killing. He said that those behind this killing must face rule of law with immediate effect. He also urged South Sudanese to be respectful of foreigners and Northern Sudanese who live in Juba

إذا كان جماعتك ديل ما قادرين على دارفور, حيقدرو كيف على الحركة الشعبية ودارفور ومناطق أخرى في أن واحد؟

الانقاذين هم أخر من يريد أن يرجع الى الحرب مرة أخرى لأنها لن تحرز لهم نصرا كما يحلمون.

هنا انهزم المشروع الحضاري وهنا تعمق حب السودانيين جميعهم في حركة تحرير السودان بخطابهاالذى احرج دعاة الحرب وزاد من عزلة النظام الحاكم .

القائد سلفا بخاطبه ده ، يظهر جليآ انو رجل سياسى واعى و يحكم عقله فى كل ما يتعلق بالشأن السودانى . و يظهر أيضآ أنه رجل دولة يقدم مصالح الملايين من أبناء شعبه فوق كل الأعتبارات الشخصيه و الأيدووجيه الضيقة لينعم كل أهل السودان بالتنمية و الأسقرار و الرفاهية .

كان الأمل و بعد أتفاق السلام أن تنفق ملايين الدولارات ، و التى كانت تنفق على الأمن، على التعليم و الصحه و الطرق و كل القطاعات التى هى فى أشد حوجة لها (مش التجييش و الدفاع الشعبى و أجهزة الأمن و البوليس الذى أصبح أكثر تسليحآ من الجيش)
