This documetary was shot in the city of Omdurman, Sudan. It is a film made in the air of historical urgency.? It draws a creative geography of women in Sudan.? The story revolves around the making of a traditional drink called ?Abbre’ and how women come to help each other in a spirit of ancient togetherness. The film weaves traditional Sudanese women songs with a realist narrative mixed with?interior and exterior spaces. A must see. 90 min
