The "Tribute in Light" interim memorial to the World Trade Center Twin Towers glows from lower Manhattan near the Brooklyn Bridge in New York 11 March 2002. The beams of light were lit on the six-month anniversary of the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001 which destroyed the towers.
