In light of Ethiopia’s continued intransigence towards dealing with the two sides of the Renaissance Dam crisis, Namely Egypt and Sudan, as the countries of the estuary and the greatest harmed by the construction of the dam, the file goes to the Security Council and the General Assembly of the United Nations, the political consumption of time and effort pursued by the Ethiopian negotiator under the guidance of the Ethiopian negotiator under the guidance of abroad is nothing but a failed policy that wastes opportunities that can establish strong relations between the countries upstream and downstream within the framework of common interests Ethiopia insists on limiting mediation to the African Union despite its failure in the recent Kinshasa negotiations. And this represents the area of interest of the international community represented in the Security Council and the General Assembly, considering that the matter represents a threat to international security and peace.
Hence, putting the matter before the Security Council by Egypt and Sudan may lead if the Security Council agrees to refer the matter by the Council to the International Court of Justice for adjudication, and here Ethiopia cannot be concerned about not agreeing to the referral and each party presents its arguments before the court so that the court has conviction for the benefit of a certain party, and it will be a decision It is binding on all, Egypt and Sudan since Ethiopia began to build the dam in commitment to calm and long breath and to deal with the Ethiopian side in good faith in order to preserve the rights of all and at the same time not depriving the Ethiopian people of their right to development, but the high tribal dictatorship of Prime Minister Abi Ahmed was an obstacle in the way of progress towards settlement and Egypt and Sudan provided multiple options but faced Ethiopian intransigence as if they did not realize anything about the international law and customs governing this matter and did not pay attention to international mediations, including The United States of America mediates and evades the signing of the agreement, but this policy cannot impose a fait accompli at the expense of the rights of two peoples to which the river is a lifeline.
