Host countries of immigrants in the west seem now to believe what many people realize to be the root causes of the unprecedented influx of refugees heading toward their countries, that the solution of the problem requires adequately addressing the motives that cause millions of stranded people to flee their countries of origin. There have been some really positive moves recently, but the naïve idea of helping the corruption –infested regimes with funds should absolutely be ruled out. Because there is simply no point putting funds in the hands of summit to base illegitimate and corrupt regimes which adopt blinkered flawed plans of no significance . Therefore, the world should seriously consider proposed commitments aimed at changing these anti-people rotten regimes ruling those countries, because people flee their home-countries because of injustice, maltreatment, insecurity, lack of freedom and decent life in dignity. After all, no person in his senses would risk his dear life to end up in a refugee camp, wander aimlessly in alien countries and eventually have his request to resettle ignored in a humiliating way. So, if the current futile policies of addressing the crisis don’t change, all efforts exerted to solve the problem will tumble on the route to durable and lasting solution, and the main reasons behind immigrating from those countries will continue to be: instability, lack of rule of law, discrimination, civil unrest, regional disputes and unbearable living-conditions as a result of unobtainable prices hike of essentialities. indeed the illegitimate rulers of those countries monopolize trade ,own the only profit-making companies ,elbow competitors out of market by heavily taxing their businesses to the extent of drafting new laws in their favor to ensure pushing prospectus competitors out of business forever ,which give them leverage to incriminate any one who might resist their monopoly and superiority .(Sudan stands as a good indicative example؟) Even civil servants who were likely to object to misappropriating public funds were dismissed and gotten rid of in hundreds of thousands. Interestingly, in oil-producing Sudan, people pay for fuel ten times its price in the global market, and prices of consumer –goods shoot skywards by the day, and those who contemplate taking to the streets to protest, think twice before taking that fateful risk, because they will simply be given the gun (300 young protesters were shot dead in cold blood in September 2013, and as yet not a soul was held responsible؟) In the neighboring state of Eritrea, those who flee the fascist country are shot dead, because the border-guards have standard orders to do so؟ Of course it is incredibly risky to sail from the African coast to the other side of the Mediterranean in a tiny boat, to find that Europe was not the anticipated utopia, nonetheless migrants still take that fateful journey, which is an indication that their life back home is extremely unlivable. So, for the west to overcome its fears of large groups of desperate young people determined to cross the sea in search for better life, it needs to adopt a serious holistic approach and plans that do not spare those who should shoulder the responsibility for the crisis. initial plans should include economic sanctions ,ban arms imports and visas for key officials, freeze assets of officials made from stolen public money, and introduce other measures of relevance to hold liable those initially responsible for the crisis . The west should realize that it should not deal with illegitimate regimes as decent, law-observing and responsible regimes, as that will legitimize otherwise illegitimate regimes. Actually the west already knows that all those anti-people regimes host local affiliates of international terrorist groups and spend 90% of their countries budgets on security, but purposely leave their borders a jar؟ Should any one raise his eye brows in disbelief , I shall give examples of state-sponsored human trafficking ,money-laundering ,drugs-trafficking and pro-regime businessmen who ,shamelessly, receive bribes and commissions to import deadly containerized chemicals waste into Sudan(their own home-land) now then ,…do such governments deserve the name ,ethically if any thing؟؟؟؟؟
