We, a group of Sudanese citizens residing in Kenya, genuinely aware of our sincere affiliation to our beloved Sudan, acknowledging the right of our great nation to a free and dignified life, being proud of the courageous struggle of our people towards democracy, peace, social progress, development, rights of expression, association, peaceful assembly, organizing rallies and demonstrations, escalating the peaceful struggle to reach the civil disobedience and overall political strike that lead to dislocating the totalitarian regime establishing democratic alternative, which will pave the way for a state of citizenship, justice and peace in a free democratic country accommodating all its citizens.
Declare our full support to the Sudanese revolution and to the “Freedom and Change Declaration”of the Sudanese Professional association, 1st January 2019.
As we salute the revolution and its pioneers, of youth, women and men, we pay our tribute to the martyrs, wishing the wounded persons a quick recovery and we demand the release of all detainees. We affirm, through this declaration to uphold the freedom and change declaration and demand as well the following:
Immediate suspension of violence applied by the regime’s oppressive apparatuses that lead to killing of tens and injuring of hundreds of fellow citizens. Hundreds of Sudanese have been subjected to killing, arbitrary arrest and torture.
Immediate unconditional departure of Al Bashir and his totalitarian regime;
Dissolution of all oppressive apparatuses and legislative institutions (national assembly, council of states and legislative assemblies at state and localities’ level);
Formation of a national transitional government from Sudanese experts agreed upon by all Sudanese political spectrum under the leadership of the Sudanese professional association and Sudanese Revolution Support Coordination Board, to rule for four years and undertake the following tasks:
Immediate stoppage of the ongoing war in Darfur, South Kordofan and Blue Nile.
Laying the ground for sustainable peace through comprehensive peace process.
Abolishing of freedom- curtailing laws;
Just trial to all those who committed crimes against the people and the country and to hold them accountable. Retribution for freedom and democracy martyrs
Retrieving the stolen money.
Halting economic deterioration and improving livelihoods.
Respecting and reinforcing human rights and ensuring freedoms of press, expression and opinion.
Rebuilding justice and rights system, ensuring independence of the judiciary and the rule of law.
Adhering to regional and international conventions and treaties that Sudan is acceded to.
Empowering Sudanese women, strengthening their role in life and combating all forms of discrimination facing them;
State’s commitment to carry out its role in providing social support, equal development and social development through policies supporting health, education and housing.
Protecting the environment to ensure a future for next generations;
Improving Sudan’s foreign policies based on independence and joint interests with neighboring countries, region and world at large. However, special status to be given to fraternal and joint struggle relations namely to our brothers in South Sudan.
Convening a comprehensive constitutional conference to address all national issues and compose the national constitution commission.
