Agreement for the exchange of remittances between Sudan and Egypt

Cairo, July 22 (SUNA) - The Egyptian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Amr Talaat has witnessed, on the sidelines of the 35th session of the Arab Permanent Post Committee meeting hosted by the Egyptian Post Office in coordination with the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, the signing of a protocol on cooperation and partnership in the field of transfers exchange between Sudan Post and the Egyptian National Post Authority. The Director of Sudapost Kamal Mustafa Al-Amin signed on behalf of Sudan Post and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Postal Authority Essam Al-Saghir signed for the Egyptian side. The Director of Sudapost pointed out that the agreement would allow Sudanese Post to send and receive remittances to and from the Arabic Republic of Egypt and to use the logistics center at Cairo airport to facilitate the movement of electronic commerce to and from Egypt and America via Cairo.
